The Vietnamese community of Sydney joins together to help build Bodhi Tree Forrest Monastery & Community Retreat Centre

Recently Bodhi Tree Forest Monastery efforts to build the our new retreat complex was helped enormously by the generous efforts of the Vietnamese Buddhist community of Sydney. In a special night at the Liberty Palace in Bankstown. Everything was expertly arranged, and hosted by Vietnamese community leader Gia Hieu, his wife Tam Ngan, and their team of volunteers. Thanks to the communities' generosity we were able to make significant steps towards building the new Vipassana retreat complex.

Venerable Pannyavaro and the Bodhi Tree Forest Monastery wish to give extra special thanks to Gia Hieu, Tam Ngan and their amazing team of volunteersfor organising the evening. We also give thanks to the greater Vietnamese community for participating in the night and for the overwhelming support they gave us.
